1. Heat preservation measures should be taken


In winter, we should first check the pipeline of solar water heater, pay attention to check whether the screw at the connection of the pipeline is loose, whether the pipeline is cracked, disjointed and leaking, if any, we should pay close attention to the maintenance.


For solar energy pipes, it is best to use foam, cotton and linen fabrics, plastic and other packages outside, so that it can play a role of thermal insulation. Heat preservation measures shall be taken at the place where the water tank of solar water heater is connected with the water supply pipe. Generally, one heat preservation pipe is two meters long, and the joint is best to be tied with tape.


2. Dripping water to prevent freezing


As long as the water keeps flowing, the possibility of being frozen is very small. Before going to bed at night, you can slightly turn on the hot water tap to let the water drop and ensure that the water flows in the water pipe. Remember to put a bucket to catch the water. It can be used the next day. Never waste water resources.


3. Drain and freeze


If the temperature is too low or if the solar water heater is not used for a long time, the water supply valve of the water heater needs to be closed to vent the water in the water heater and the upper and lower pipelines. In this way, there is no water in the water pipe and it will not freeze naturally.


4. Pay attention to the selection of water filling time


The use of solar water heater in winter needs to determine the time of adding water according to the weather conditions. If the outdoor temperature is above zero, water can be added that night; if the outdoor temperature is below zero, it is better to add water the next morning to prevent the water outlet from freezing.


5. Use antifreeze tape


The integrated solar water heater is generally equipped with "antifreeze wall" water insulation and antifreeze system, which can effectively protect the outdoor pipeline from freezing, but at present, many users start the "antifreeze belt" in the "antifreeze wall" to thaw after the pipeline is frozen, which not only delays the use, but also damages the life of solar energy.


The right way is: if the temperature is continuously lower than zero, the "antifreeze belt" should be turned on all the time for preheating protection (the power consumption can be ignored); if the temperature is relatively high in the daytime and the temperature is below zero at night, the "antifreeze belt" can be turned on at night and turned off in the daytime. In addition, the user should pay attention to cutting off the power supply when bathing.
