Currently, there is no vaccine for coronavirus (COVID-19); However, you can avoid getting infected by following some basic hygiene measures recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Follow these tips:
Wash your hands up to your forearm with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a disposable tissue or your forearm; never do it with your hands directly.
Don't touch your eyes, nose or mouth if you haven't washed your hands first.
Only if you don't have soap and water nearby, use antibacterial gel. Please note that this should not replace hand washing.
Avoid direct contact with people who show symptoms such as cold or flu. Keep 1 meter of average distance.
When you use toilet paper or disposable tissues, be sure to throw them in the trash and wash your hands afterward.
Wear surgical masks only if you must care for someone suspected of infection, have a cough or sneeze, or need to leave home for any reason allowed during mandatory social isolation.
